HANNAH COX

MS,RD,LD

Hannah discovered her love of food during her early college years. Cooking has become a creative outlet which offers a way to unplug and destress. She views it as a challenging yet stimulating hobby which allows for innovation, variation, and modernism of favorite dishes we all grew up eating (across all cultures mind you). She believes the meals we make are to be shared around the table with loved ones accompanied by rich conversations. Her passion is not only to prepare the foods that nourish the heart, but those that will also nourish the body.

Hannah loves spending time with her husband Carter, and they are excited to welcome their first baby this spring. This new adventure has increased Hannah’s enthusiasm and interest in helping other expecting mothers pursue the healthiest and happiest pregnancy they can! Hannah enjoys water-coloring, yoga, spin-class, hiking, and any activity in the great outdoors. Hannah is also a major foodie and loves all cultural cuisines-she will try anything at least once! She considers neighborhood restaurants gems of the city, and she is in support of all locally owned endeavours. Nutrition and food are among Hannah’s greatest passions, but all these things find no purpose outside of her relationship with God through following Jesus.

Professional Experience

Hannah received her undergraduate degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, and Food Management from the University of Central Oklahoma. She completed her Dietetic Internship and Masters of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics through the University of Central Oklahoma as well. Hannah has been practicing as a Dietitian since August 2015. While living in Florida late 2015 to January 2017, Hannah worked with several Drug and Alcohol Recovery Centers helping teach Nutrition Education as well as working one-on-one with clients with a wide range of diseases and conditions including celiac disease, gastric bypass, eating disorders, diabetes, heart disease, and liver disease. Hannah’s passion is to educate individuals on their own condition and personal needs as it pertains to nutrition, and, starting where they are at, help them pursue a whole, healthy, and thriving life.
