Since I am keenly aware of how detrimental added sugar is to the body, I decided to steer clear of making a dessert. I wanted to respect the beauty and flavor of these fresh berries and thought a savory and sweet salad would be a great way to let these little berries shine! I had some beets, kale and radishes from my farm produce box - and walaa - this pink and purple salad was born. I could barely keep my husband's hands off this long enough for me to take a pic!
